A Great Cigar that needs some aging to develop its flavors
I bought a box of EGM Ponderosos two months ago and eagerly smoked the first cigar as they arrived. While I marveled at its construction-they were as well made as the best cuban cigars from the time I started smoking 35 years ago (perfect wrapper, magnificent color, excellent draw)-the taste left something to be desired, as they were a bit bland. I continued consuming my usual cuban fare from my humidors (Partagas series D #4 and Montecristo #1)... Today I lit my second Ponderoso, and the difference two months of aging made was hard to believe! The cigar had acquired the complexity, the aroma and the flavor that was missing during my first try...I would say this is by far the best non-cuban cigar I have even smoked and I am ordering my second box asap. Gentlemen (and ladies) these are true gems, just let them mature a bit in your humidors and you will will amply be rewarded!

Lovely cigar
Very good cigar very smooth although it is very fresh and very good draw.
